An experienced Sale Executive is needed for a Certified Top Employer (2015) for a Johannesburg landmarked hotel, close to the iconic Mandela Bridge.
Strategically positioned in Johannesburg’s vibrant cosmopolitan, business and academic district, Braamfontein.
Maximizes hotel revenue across all customer segments
Face to face calls with clients
Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment
Conducts at least 15 effective sales calls per week
Ensure that every client that makes a group enquiry at one of our Hotels must be contacted within 24 hours of receiving the enquiry
Liaises with the Accounts Department regarding credit issues
Prepares proposals in conjunction / for the National Sales Manager that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs.
Develop effective sales plans for assigned market segments in coordination with the National Sales Manager
Prepares accurate forecasts as requested in coordination with the National Sales Manager
Keeps Sales Department informed of group booking status
Follows up on commissions and other fees paid to travel agencies within the assigned segment
Seek business opportunities for other hotels within the Region while conducting sales calls To review and monitor business support from clients – room nights production and materialization on a monthly basis
To prepare a weekly Sales Call Plan included in the weekly Sales Tracking Report
